REQUREMENTS:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Required. With past SCI or SCI-eligible.
Many roles located within 2 hours of greater Alington, VA, for hybrid work and occasional onsite visits. Some roles may be approved to work remote.
ROLE:
3 Software Engineers (Computer Programmers) - Subject Matter Experts (SME):
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for methods to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
Create, modify, and test code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals. May assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
Plan and implement an Agile software management process across the platform, utilizing industry best practices. Support data engineering to train, test, and deploy production AI/ML models.
Support Models as a Service (MaaS) and implement state-of-the-art algorithms within the DoD and other CDAO major platforms for relevant categories of AI/ML models (e.g. open-source foundational large language models, object detection, object classification, anomaly and outlier detection).
Compensation DoE; Est $160K-$200k
